Who is Queen Lori ?
Mrs. Lori Lewis has been a licensed cosmetologist for 22 years, and a salon owner for a total of 11 years. She graduated from Cosmetology Training Center in November 2001. She owned and operated her first salon, Hair of Excellence, in November 2008 for 3 years and later she became the owner of Kingdom Styles Hair Salon in August 2015. She is very passionate about healthy hair and proper hair care. She has several certifications including hair coloring classes with Matrix and Farouk, Chi Enviro smoothing system, product knowledge classes with Bronner Bros, and so much more.
She not only enhances your exterior beauty, but she is very encouraging and loves to inspire people to see the BEST in them. She received certification as a Peer Support Specialist through the state of Louisiana in December 2020. Currently she is attending Hope Bible Institute and will be graduating in April 2023 with her Bachelors degree in Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies . Her goal is to continue her education and graduate in the spring of 2025 with her degree in Doctoral Biblical Psychology and Doctoral of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies.
She founded a faith based organization called Krowned Kingdom Kids in July 2022. The vision for Krowned Kingdom Kids is to build the confidence and self esteem of our little future leaders, by helping them see themselves like God sees them. We focus on healthy haircare, proper hygiene, proper skincare, mental health, bullying, life skills, body talk and much more. Krowned Kingdom kids is for girls and boys ages 5-18. Our goal is to reach the kids in our community and surrounding community and have an open dialogue with them while reassuring them that they can do anything they put their minds to.
When she is not working or serving her community, she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Alvin Lewis Jr. of 11yrs, her 4 children from her union, and 5 bonus kids making a beautiful blended family. She also serves on the dance ministry and oversees the mime team at her place of worship Destiny of Faith, where she has been a member for 20 years. She and her husband are also Marriage ministry facilitators, and assist the Children’s church with special events. Mrs. Lori is very goal oriented and always looking to elevate herself to leave behind a legacy for her family.
